Stretch out in extra open space – on the street! Many NYC streets are closed to traffic and open to pedestrians and cyclists.

Local communities manage Open Streets. Some streets offer a comfortable place to walk or bike, while others offer socially distanced programming.

Most Open Streets are open every day, 8 am to 8 pm.

Local arts and cultural institutions are hosting outdoor entertainment this summer. Be sure to get your ticket in advance for these fabulous outdoor performances!
